Authentic Breaking of Fast at Le Quadri Hotel Kuala Lumpur

As the Holy Month of Ramadan draws closer, Le Quadri Hotel Kuala Lumpur is all geared up with its wide selection of traditional Buka Puasa favourites. 


General Manager, Peter Padman introduces his new Executive Chef, Salim Bahari who has over 36 years of experience in the culinary field and has specially curated a menu that is not only close to his heart but also will connect with the hundreds of anticipated diners and has aptly been themed as "Air Tangan Bonda" (transtated as "Mum's Heart & Soul"). Many of the dishes are authentic recipes from Salim's mother, aunts as well as other relatives.



The highlight of the menu is said to be the "Udang Galah Masak Lemak", an all-time bestseller. The "Air Tangan Bonda" spread also features the Nasi Kandar Stall's "must-haves" such as the regular favourites namely Sambol Sotong, Ayam Goreng Berempah, Daging Tok Kampung, Ikan Pori Masak Asam Pedos, Paru Goreng Berloda & Tofu Sumbat. 






The fresh traditional salads (ulam-ulam) brought in fresh from the organic farm managed under UCSI University are served with a variety of condiments and dressings, which makes these side dishes essential when it comes to traditional Malay cuisines. 





Assisted by Chef Alex Chan, the team has also prepared both Western and Chinese selection of scrumptious dishes to compliment the wide preferences of the many foodies out there. Grills on the barbecue pit will be an 'action-stall and insta-friendly attraction, where one will be able to grill their own meats to their own liking. 






Western favourites include pasta, pizza, seafood and meat preparations such as ragout and goulash. Another highlight would be the Asian noodles are made and served for the various palates, and not forgetting the Soup Gearbax where sucking of the bone marrow has become a much-loved dining activity that is very much a tradition these days at any breaking-of-fast. 




Priced only at RM158nett, Padman says that the hotel is extending an early bird price until 31 March 2022, where one will pay only RM 108nett per person. Senior citizens who are 65 years and above as well as children below 12 years of age will enjoy the buffet at on RM 85nett throughout the booking and dining period.
